I met Jameson in college. He was immediately one of the nicest guys I had ever met. He was kind, polite, said funny punch lines when necessary, and lived a good put-together life. I got to know Jameson when we both hit rock bottom and went through the hardest seasons of our lives together. I gained one of the best friends I had ever had, and I knew it was ordained.
One day, Jameson said, “There’s a girl…” and I learned about Alex. The rest was history. They dated long-distance, I mean LONG-distance. Like Alex lived in Nicaragua and James was in Texas. They broke up once, then the Lord brought them back together, and though they had known each other since high school, a lot of life had happened since they met, and watching them learn their love and learn their story was beautiful. Alex makes Jameson grounded and stable while they love to adventure together. Their July wedding was perfectly “them,” and I had so much fun watching my best friend gain his life partner.
