August 18th in Lubbock, Texas is usually hot and dry. Usually. But this August 18th was far from typical. It was a stormy, cool, beautifully dreary day until about 6pm at ceremony when the sunshine burst through the high windows at Eberley Brooks casting this golden spray of warmth over tear dabbed eyes and smile lines.
