Kentlee inquired with me to shoot their One Eleven East wedding back in September, and from the moment we started emailing, I felt a connection with her. I had to meet this gal and love on her and Zech for their wedding day. Thankfully after a delicious first date meeting them & my husband at North Italia in The Domain in Austin, TX, they pulled the trigger and booked me. SCORE. Honestly, I don’t know who was more blessed in this deal. Kentlee & Z getting beautiful wedding photos or Pierce and me making some beautiful new friends. Either way, their wedding exuded their macth-made-in-heaven type of love from the moment it began. Kentlee got her gorgeous gown from Unbridaled in Austin from the Goddess By Nature line, and customized it a bit to fit her style. She rocked it so well, the dress company designer to launch it as a new gown and name it the KENTLEE gown. HOW PERFECT IS THAT? The whole venue dripped with fresh buds from the killer Remi + Gold team, and their coordinator, Allison Cruz, is the best calming spirit I’ve met in the coordinating world. You go, girl.
Aside from all of the killer team that made this day possible, Kentlee & Zech were really what it was all about. Kentlee was so chill getting ready and the tears flowed when she saw her girls and dad that morning. I loved how elegantly she released her emotions throughout the whole day. Speaking of emotions, Zech and his band of… clowns kept me rolling all day long. Their hilarious banter and games they played while getting ready was a true sign of his deep friendship with these guys. Zech couldn’t wait to see Kentlee, and when she finally came down the aisle, I think he about passed out. He was so in awe of her and what they were doing, he quite literally froze. His face said it all. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of her all night. How could he?? After a yummy dinner + the most heartfelt speeches, we made out way to first dances and THE TEARS FLOWED. K + Z’s best friends sang their first dance song (“Best Part” by Daniel Caesar & H.E.R.) and it was flawless!! The pipes on these people!!! I’d pay money to see it again.
At the end of the night, they said their goodbyes to friends + family and was sent off in a cloud of sparkles to their honeymoon. I couldn’t start editing this wedding quick enough. All the love, gorgeous people, and emotions of this day were so authentic. These two deserve all the happiness in the world because they give it from themselves so purely. I love you, Meyers! Thanks for letting me be a part of your lives.
