Welcome! My name is Annique! Like the word “unique” but with an “A.” Pretty good, huh? I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was about 10 years old, and I hope to keep photographing until my hands and eyes give out. It’s a forever type of thing– kind of like my own commitment to my lover boy husband named Pierce and our gift of a son, Golden. We have a very good girl furry pup named Juneau, and we are happily living and loving in Austin, Texas.
Pierce and I met at the ripe ages of 15 and 16 years old in high school and married after college. We share a unique love story, so it’s made me appreciate the intricacy that comes with human relationships. They’re all so special and so deserving of being told.
My story is still being shaped, but at the core of who I am, I’ve always been in love with Love and obsessed with light, so it only makes sense I’ve dedicated over half of my life to learning the art of photography to capture human connection in its own glorious glow. Digging into the soil of my heart, I have uncovered my “why” and birthed a lifelong romance of chasing light and truly seeing people for who they are in their fullness.
Share the Sincere. Sharing sincerely. That’s my goal when I have my camera in my hand. I always want to tell your story authentically, vulnerably, artfully, and with complete sincerity. There’s no other motivation or self-promotion when it comes to your story. I hope to purely be a vehicle to preserving your memories that will outlive us all and be passed down for generations.
I love light. I love people. It’s as simple and complex as that.
My job is to facilitate the connection you and your lover already have and translate it to artful imagery. For those of you getting married, your wedding day is the most sacred day ever, and I take that very seriously. I want you to look back on your wedding images and not just remember by seeing. I want you to remember your day with all your senses and feel as if you’re reliving those moments all over again. I’m not here to just check some boxes off and get your day done with. It’s about fostering the spirit of love and deep-rooted relationship while serving you with my whole heart.
